Duel Systems (Duel) takes your privacy seriously. We use the information
you voluntarily provide, together with information regarding the manner in
which you use this web site, and the web sites of our parent, subsidiaries
and affiliates that are linked to and integrated into this web site (collectively,
the "Duel Site"), to provide you with requested information, and to improve the
Duel Site and our products and services. Duel is committed to data security, and
to protecting the personal information of our Duel Site users.
This Privacy Policy explains what type of information we collect, what we do with
that information, and how you can update and control the use of your personally
identifiable data.
Information Gathered on the Duel Site
We collect two types of information from visitors to the Duel Site:
We collect personal data such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses,
telephone/fax numbers, customer account numbers, and the content of
e-mail submissions sent to us, when voluntarily submitted by visitors
to our site. You do not need to disclose any personally identifiable
information to view the Duel Site.
Certain non-personal information is also automatically collected from
our visitors when they access the Duel Site, such as information about
traffic patterns on the Duel Site, the total number of users logging
into the Duel Site on a daily basis, which pages users access, the
URL from which each user comes to the Duel Site, the URL to which
each user exits, the type of browser used by each user, and the IP
address from which a user accesses the Duel Site.
What Do We Do With This Information?
Information voluntarily submitted to us is used to contact users for
the purpose for which the information was provided (e.g., to process
an order, provide you with corporate or product information, or process
an application for employment). In addition, we may from time to time
use this information to contact users about products and services
offered by Duel. We also may combine information that you have given
us online with information you have given us offline, in order to
provide you with improved customer service and with tailored
information about our products and services.
We do not trade, sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable
information to others. Duel may share your data, however, with our
parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, and with web site hosting
partners and other parties who assist Duel in operating the Duel
site and our computer systems. Each of such third parties have
adopted their own Privacy Policies or signed confidentiality
agreements with Duel obligating them to keep user data confidential.
Duel also reserves the right to disclose any information if we believe
in good faith that such disclosure is required by law or legal process,
to respond to claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of
Duel or others.
Information automatically collected from users of the Duel Site is
used internally to improve the Duel Site and our products and
services. We may also share aggregate data about the number and
frequency of visitors to our website, and the manner in which customers
or dealers use the Duel Site, with our webmaster or other business
partners.
It is possible that as we continue to develop our Duel Site and our
business, Duel and/or its assets might be acquired. In such a
transaction, your information may be transferred to the acquiring
entity.
Use of Cookies
We use "cookies" on the Duel Site to help you use our site more
easily, and to help us to keep track of certain statistical information
so that we can continuously improve the Duel Site and our service to you.
A "cookie" is a small data file that a website can send to your browser,
which may then be stored on your hard drive to help our website "remember"
information about you when you return to our website, such as unfinished
input to facilitate completion of online forms. Our cookies cannot read
data off of your hard drive, read cookie files created by other websites
or track any personal information about you. You may be able to set your
browser to disable cookies or to notify you when you receive a cookie.
Security of Information
Duel takes reasonable measures to protect the security of the
information transmitted between browsers and our web server, including
using firewalls and other security technologies where deemed
appropriate by Duel. To protect your privacy, however, please do not
use e-mail or this Duel Site to communicate information you wish to be
kept strictly confidential. You acknowledge that any transmission of
data may be illegally intercepted and used by third parties. Duel
shall not be responsible for any interception of data transmitted
to or from our web server.
